Hawkeye Pest Control, formerly known as APC are a pest control company based in Newbury, Berkshire.
Andrew Swanborough came to us with a requirement to take on a whole new brand and vision for the company, and requested a new brand design for APC initially. After a short period of time, it was considered that while APC was known in the area for the excellent service, the acronym meant nothing to most people who didn’t know what it meant.
Therefore Hawkeye Pest Control was born. A completely unique name, that avoids the common use of Acronyms in the industry where there is a certain bad taste that goes with the world of pest control.
We decided to have a bit of obvious fun with the brand and create something that was really striking, visually punchy, and of course, eye catching. The brand is really unique in the industry as instead of default, rat or pigeon, the eye of the hawk is representative of the ‘always watching’ bird of prey.
Along with the re-brand, Hawkeye also required a website, which was more tailored to work for both domestic and commercial clients. A full glossary of all pests and problems that customers may be facing, along with an openly transparent glossary of pesticides that Hawkeye use.
